Central Iowa Vapor is proud to donate e-liquid to the Vape A Vet Project in the names of Forrest Lambson and Kent Boyd. Forrest and Kent were proud military men that were close to the Central Iowa Vapors’ family, that have passed away. Central Iowa Vapors proudly supports our veterans and active duty military. Central Iowa Vapors also offers a military discount, to all military personnel, past or present. “This is just a small way for us to show our appreciation for what they do, for all Americans.” -Central Iowa Vapors

“Central Iowa Vapor proudly donated e-liquid to the Vape A Vet Project in honor of three of their employees who were members of the armed forces. One was in the Army, one in the Air Force, and one in the Marine Corps.” Along with a big thank you to all the men and women currently serving our country and did. Thank you so much to Ashley and everyone else involved at Central Iowa Vapors for another donation to our e-liquid bins! What you’ve donated will be sent off to active troops, currently fighting for our country in need of e-liquid.
Central Iowa Vapor is honored to have partnered with the American Diabetes Association of Central Iowa from 2015 to present. Central Iowa Vapors has takes part in the American Diabetes “Hand” Pin Up campaign every November, in honor of diabetes awareness month. Central Iowa Vapors involvement and fundraising efforts have provided the diabetes association with necessary funds to continue their efforts through funding diabetes research, patient and professional education programs, public awareness and advocacy activities.
Ways Central Iowa Vapors has advanced the American Diabetes Association’s mission in Iowa:

ADA committed to $1,018,900 in research to support three projects at the University of Iowa.

Diabetes Busters, an ADA program that teaches 4th Grade children about the difference between Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes, benefits of good nutrition and proper exercise, is expanding throughout Iowa.

ADA provided financial support for the 2015 Camp Hertko Hollow camp session, an Iowa camp for children affected by diabetes.

Over 1,500 Iowans have signed up for ADA’s free “Living With Type 2 Diabetes Program.”

Families of newly diagnosed children with Type 1 diabetes have been taking advantage of ADA’s free Wisdom Kits.

ADA operates www.diabetes.org and 1-800-DIABETES which provide the ultimate resource for questions regarding diabetes – including medications, diet, exercise, discrimination issues, information and
community support.

Through the free Wellness Lives Here program, ADA has teamed up with Iowa employers to provide guidance with wellness programs and hosting lunch & learns for employees.
Central Iowa Vapors is committed to helping further the American Diabetes Association’s mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
